DeliveryEstimate (“the App”) is provided by Digital Dasher.
This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
DATA WE COLLECT
Merchant Data:
– Shop domain and configuration settings
– Shipping zones, processing times, and holiday dates
– Product rules and widget customization preferences
– Usage statistics (widget impression counts)
Customer Data:
– IP addresses (temporary, for geolocation only – NOT stored)
– No names, emails, or personal information collected
– No purchase history or payment information accessed
HOW WE USE DATA
– Calculate delivery estimates based on customer location
– Display personalized shipping dates on product pages
– Track usage for billing purposes (free vs paid tiers)
– Improve app functionality and performance
DATA STORAGE & SECURITY
– All data encrypted at rest and in transit (SSL/TLS)
– Hosted on secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase/Render)
– Regular automated backups
– No data shared with third parties
– No advertising or marketing use of data
DATA RETENTION
– Merchant data retained while app is installed
– All data automatically deleted when app is uninstalled
– Customer IP addresses not stored (used only for real-time lookup)
YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR/CCPA)
– Access your data: Contact info@digitaldasher.co.uk
– Delete your data: Uninstall the app (automatic deletion)
– Data portability: Export available via app dashboard
COOKIES
The App does not use cookies. Widget functionality operates
without browser storage or tracking.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
CHANGES TO POLICY
We will notify users of material changes via email and app dashboard.
